Jasika Nicole Pruitt (born April 10, 1980) is an American actress and illustrator from Birmingham, Alabama. She gained recognition for her role as Agent Astrid Farnsworth on the Fox series Fringe. Nicole has also appeared as Kim Muñoz in Scandal and portrayed Carly Lever, the head of pathology, in the ABC medical drama The Good Doctor. She studied theatre, dance, voice, and studio art at Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina. Additionally, Nicole has lent her voice to various projects, including the animated series Danger & Eggs, where she voiced the character Reina. She currently voices Dana Cardinal on the podcast Welcome to Night Vale and plays Keisha in the podcast Alice Isn't Dead. Nicole, who is biracial, has been vocal about the lack of TV characters she could identify with during her upbringing.
