Jason A. Rodriguez

Jason A. Rodriguez is a Dominican-American actor and dancer, best known for his role as Lemar Wintour in the FX television series Pose. Born and raised in Washington Heights, New York City, Rodriguez graduated from SUNY Purchase in 2012 with a BA in Arts Management, specializing in dance. Mentored by Associate Professor Kevin Wynn, Rodriguez honed his technique and gained valuable experience assisting at the Joffrey Ballet School and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Inspired by the documentary Paris is Burning, Rodriguez immersed himself in ballroom culture, training with Benny Ninja from the House of Ninja and later joining the House of Ninja. He is also associated with the House of Xtravaganza, part of the New York City ballroom scene.
