Jason Kent Bateman (born January 14, 1969) is an American actor, director, and producer. He gained recognition for his role as Michael Bluth in the sitcom Arrested Development (2003–2006, 2013–2019) and as Marty Byrde in the crime drama series Ozark (2017–2022). Bateman has received numerous accolades including a Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards. He began his career as a child actor, appearing on shows like Little House on the Prairie (1981–1982) and The Hogan Family (1986–1991). Bateman has appeared in several successful films such as Dodgeball (2004), Juno (2007), and Horrible Bosses (2011). In 2017, he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
