Jason Blum

Jason Ferus Blum (born February 20, 1969) is an American film and television producer. He is the founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions, known for producing popular horror franchises such as Paranormal Activity, Insidious, and The Purge. Blum has also produced notable films including Sinister, Oculus, Whiplash, and Get Out, which earned him nominations for the Academy Award for Best Picture. He received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Television Movie for producing The Normal Heart and won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series for The Jinx. Blum continues to contribute to the film and television industry with his successful productions.
