Jason Evers

Jason Evers (born January 2, 1922 – died March 13, 2005), also known as Herbert Everberg or Herbert Everin, was an American actor. He gained prominence as the star of the 1963 ABC television drama Channing. Born in New York City, Evers attended DeWitt Clinton High School before joining the United States Army. Inspired by actors like John Wayne, Evers pursued a career in acting. He started with roles on Broadway and later transitioned to Hollywood. Evers appeared in various TV shows, including the 1960 NBC series Wrangler and ABC's The Rebel. He also made multiple guest appearances on Perry Mason. Evers notably appeared alongside John Wayne in The Green Berets.
