Jason Isbell

Jason Isbell, born Michael Jason Isbell on February 1, 1979, is an American singer-songwriter and actor. He gained recognition for his solo music career, as well as his time with the band The 400 Unit and as a former member of Drive-By Truckers from 2001 to 2007. Isbell has achieved notable success, winning four Grammy Awards. Apart from his music, he has appeared in various television series like Squidbillies and Billions, and films such as Deadwood: The Movie and the upcoming Killers of the Flower Moon. Isbell's most recent album with The 400 Unit, Weathervanes, was released in June 2023. Born in Green Hill, Alabama, Isbell grew up in North Alabama and comes from a family with a farming background.
