Jason Mewes

Jason Edward Mewes (born June 12, 1974) is an American actor, comedian, film producer, and podcaster. He gained prominence for his portrayal of Jay, the vocal half of the duo Jay and Silent Bob, in the films of his longtime friend Kevin Smith. Mewes was born in Highlands, New Jersey, and grew up in a working-class neighborhood. Despite a challenging upbringing with a drug-addicted mother, Mewes found success in the entertainment industry. He has appeared in various movies and TV shows, showcasing his comedic talent. In addition to his acting career, Mewes is also a podcast host, producer, and writer.
