Jason Statham

Jason Statham is an English actor known for his roles in various action-thriller films. Born on July 26, 1967, he began practicing Chinese martial arts and kickboxing in his youth. Statham's athletic abilities also led him to compete for England in the 1990 Commonwealth Games as part of the national diving team. His career in entertainment started with modeling for French Connection, Tommy Hilfiger, and Levi's. He gained recognition for his performances in Guy Ritchie's crime films, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) and Snatch (2000). Statham's success continued with his portrayal of Frank Martin in the Transporter trilogy (2002-2008) and other heist and action-thriller films like The Italian Job (2003), Crank (2006), War (2007), and The Bank Job (2008).
