Javier Rey

Javier Rey (born 25 February 1980) is a Spanish actor known for his work in television and film. Born in Noia, Galicia, Rey started his acting career after being an avid comic book collector. He gained recognition for his stage performance in the theatrical play Ubú rey in 2001. Rey made his television debut in the 2005 series Al filo de la ley and had his feature film debut in 2008 with 8 citas. He has been often cast in supporting roles but gained prominence as a lead actor in Spanish drama fiction, especially after his breakthrough role as Sito Miñanco in the 2018 series Fariña. Rey has appeared in various television shows and films throughout his career.
