Jay Leno
James Douglas Muir Leno, born on April 28, 1950, is an American television host, writer, and comedian. Leno gained recognition through his stand-up comedy performances before becoming the host of NBC's The Tonight Show from 1992 to 2009. Following this, he started his primetime talk show, The Jay Leno Show, which aired on NBC. Leno returned to hosting The Tonight Show in 2010 and ended his second tenure in 2014. He was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in the same year. Since 2014, Leno has hosted Jay Leno's Garage, a show focused on his car collection. In 2021, he began hosting the revival of You Bet Your Life. Leno also writes a column in Popular Mechanics and contributes articles on cars and automotive advice.
