Jayme Lawson (born September 19, 1997) is an American actress. She gained attention for her role as mayoral candidate Bella Reál in the film The Batman (2022). Lawson graduated from Juilliard School in May 2019 and made her film debut in Farewell Amor (2020) as Sylvia. In 2022, she appeared in the drama films Till, How to Blow Up a Pipeline, and The Woman King as Myrlie Evers, Alisha, and Shante, respectively. Lawson also portrayed a young Michelle Obama in the television series The First Lady (2022). Additionally, she had a role in the stage production For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide / When the Rainbow Is Enuf in 2019.
