Jean Kasem

Jean Kasem is a former American actress known for her role as Loretta Tortelli on the TV series Cheers. Born Jean Thompson in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, she later moved to Guam with her family before attending the University of Guam. After a failed marriage and a move to California, Kasem pursued a career in acting and joined an acting workshop. She went on to appear in various television series such as Matt Houston, Fantasy Island, and Alice. Kasem is also recognized as the widow of radio personality and actor Casey Kasem.
