Jeannetta Arnette is an American actress best known for her role as Miss Meara on the television sitcom Head of the Class. She has appeared in various films, including Ladybugs (1992) and Boys Don't Cry (1999), as well as guest-starring on several television shows. Arnette grew up in North Carolina, attended the North Carolina School of the Arts for high school, studied acting in England, and attended George Washington University. She dropped out of college to pursue her acting career in Los Angeles. In addition to her television and film work, Arnette has appeared in Tori Spelling's VH1 sitcom So NoTORIous and played Sarah Jean on CBS' Criminal Minds. She also had a recurring role in the CBS series Extant in 2014.
