    Jed Allan Brown, professionally known as Jed Allan, was an American actor and television host. Born on March 1, 1935, he attended the University of Washington, majoring in Drama. During his college years, Allan worked as a radio and television announcer and sportscaster. In the 1960s, he appeared in Broadway productions such as Viva Madison Avenue!, Oliver!, and Barefoot in the Park. Allan gained recognition for his roles in various soap operas, including Love of Life, The Secret Storm, Santa Barbara, and Days of Our Lives. He also portrayed Rush Sanders on Beverly Hills, 90210 and Scott Turner on Lassie. Allan passed away on March 9, 2019.
