Jeff Daniels

Jeffrey Warren Daniels (born February 19, 1955) is an American actor, musician, and playwright. He has gained recognition for his versatile performances on both stage and screen, effortlessly transitioning between comedy and drama. Daniels has received multiple awards and nominations throughout his career, including two Primetime Emmy Awards, three Tony Award nominations, five Screen Actors Guild Award nominations, and five Golden Globe Award nominations. He made his film debut in 1981 and has since appeared in numerous notable films such as Ragtime (1981), Terms of Endearment (1983), Heartburn (1986), Gettysburg (1993), Dumb and Dumber (1994), 101 Dalmations (1996), and Pleasantville (1998).
