Jeffrey Douglas Dunham, born April 18, 1962, is an American ventriloquist, stand-up comedian, and actor. He has made appearances on various television shows like Late Show with David Letterman, Comedy Central Presents, The Tonight Show, and Sonny With a Chance. Known for his politically incorrect and ill-tempered characters, Dunham has six specials that air on Comedy Central, including Arguing with Myself, Spark of Insanity, and Jeff Dunham's Very Special Christmas Special. In 2009, he starred in The Jeff Dunham Show, a series on Comedy Central. Dunham has been credited with revitalizing ventriloquism and is often referred to as 'America's favorite comedian'.
