Jeff Hordley

Jeff Hordley is an English actor known for his role as Cain Dingle in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. Born on March 7, 1970, in Oldham, Greater Manchester, he attended North Chadderton Comprehensive before earning a BA (Hons) Theatre Arts (Acting) degree from Manchester Metropolitan University School of Theatre in 1997. Hordley has been nominated for the British Soap Award for Best Actor three times for his portrayal of Cain. In addition to his acting career, Hordley is an advocate for Crohn's disease awareness, as he has been living with the condition since the age of 20. After making appearances in various British soap operas, he joined Emmerdale in 2000 and temporarily left in 2006 to explore other projects.
