Jeff Pope Biography
Jeff Pope is a British television producer, screenwriter, and media personality. He is best known for co-writing the film Pierrepoint and the television drama The Fattest Man in Britain. In 2006, Pope received a BAFTA for his work on the drama See No Evil: The Moors Murders. Currently, he serves as the Head of ITV Productions Factual Drama. Pope's impressive career started as a reporter for the Ealing Gazette and later joined London Weekend Television as a researcher. He then held positions at Granada Television before settling at ITV. Pope has also written several notable television shows, including Fool's Gold: The Story of the Brink's-Mat Robbery and Dirty Filthy Love. In 2018, he wrote the screenplay for the film Stan & Ollie and co-wrote the 2022 film The Lost King.
