Jeffrey Weiss (April 30, 1940 – September 18, 2022) was an American playwright, impresario, and actor known for his work on Broadway and in the East Village, Manhattan. He grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and started his career in the theater, both writing and acting in plays. In New York City, he frequently presented his work at the La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club and Caffe Cino. Some of his notable performances include Robert Sealy's Waiting Boy and Prevarications, as well as his own play, A Funny Walk Home. Weiss also appeared in Jean Reavey's Window, directed by Tom O'Horgan. He had a diverse body of work and made significant contributions to the theater scene.
