Jeffrey Wincott (born May 8, 1956) is a Canadian actor and martial artist known for his lead role in the television series Night Heat. He was also a prominent figure in martial arts films during the 1990s and was recognized as one of the 'Martial Arts Movie Stars of the Next Century' by Black Belt magazine in 1996. Wincott, born and raised in Toronto, developed an interest in acting during high school and turned down a swimming scholarship to study acting at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute. He began his acting career with appearances on Canadian sitcoms and series such as King of Kensington and The Littlest Hobo. Wincott's talent and dedication continue to contribute to the entertainment industry.
