    Jeffrey S. Carlson (June 23, 1975 – July 6, 2023) was an American actor and singer, known for his roles on Broadway, film, and television. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Zoe Luper, a transgender character, on the long-running soap opera All My Children. Born in Long Beach, California, Carlson studied acting at the University of California, Davis, and trained at New York City's Juilliard School. He made his Broadway debut in Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? in 2002 and also appeared in the Broadway revival of Tartuffe in 2003. Jeffrey Carlson's talent and dedication to his craft made him a respected figure in the entertainment industry.
