Jeffrey Fuller Biography
Jeffrey Fuller (1917–1970) was an American civil rights activist and editor. He worked for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) from 1948 to 1966, where he was responsible for membership development and fundraising. Additionally, Fuller served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Born on March 19, 1917, Fuller was the son of Walter Fuller and Crystal Eastman, a cofounder of the ACLU. He graduated from Harvard University in 1938 with an A.B. degree in Slavic Languages, History, and Literature. Fuller also studied radio and television production at New York University from 1940 to 1941. Before joining the ACLU, he worked as a music dealer, a guide at the 1939 World's Fair, and as a radio editor and public relations assistant.
