Jelani Alladin

Jelani Alladin (born August 6, 1992) is an American actor, singer, and dancer. He gained recognition for originating the role of Kristoff in the Broadway musical adaptation of Frozen in 2018. Alladin grew up in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City, and attended high school in New Canaan, Connecticut. In high school, he excelled in both athletics and performing arts, participating in lacrosse and track, as well as taking on lead roles in productions like Cabaret and Seussical. Alladin further honed his skills at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, studying various acting styles and vocal performance. Besides his Broadway debut, Alladin has also appeared in Off-Broadway shows like Sweetee and received critical acclaim for his performance in Choir Boy.
