Jen Ponton Biography
Jen Ponton (born June 27, 1984) is an American actress, screenwriter, and producer. She is best known for her role as Rubi in the AMC series Dietland. Ponton was raised in Bloomsbury, New Jersey and graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 2002, where she was involved in the New Jersey Speech and Debate Forensics League, drama club, and musical groups. She earned her BA in Theatre from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2006. Ponton began her acting career in 2010 with a guest role on the TV show 30 Rock. She has since made appearances on Law & Order: SVU, Boardwalk Empire, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and The Blacklist, among others. In addition to her TV work, Ponton also starred in the 2016 film Love on the Run.
