Jen Richards

Jen Richards is an American writer, actress, producer, and activist. She was born in Mississippi and currently resides in North Carolina. Richards graduated from Shimer College with a BA in Philosophy and also studied at Oxford University. In 2015, she gained recognition as a supporting cast member on Caitlyn Jenner's reality show, I Am Cait. She then co-starred, co-directed, co-wrote, and co-produced the Emmy-nominated web series, Her Story, in 2016. Richards made history in 2017 by becoming the first openly transgender person to appear on a CMT show, Nashville, playing the first transgender character on that network. She has also appeared in the film Easy Living and has been an advocate for better trans representation in the entertainment industry.
