Jen Statsky Biography
Jen Statsky (born November 19, 1985) is an American television writer and comedian. She is known for her work on popular TV shows such as Hacks, The Good Place, Parks and Recreation, and Broad City. Statsky is the co-creator and co-showrunner of the critically-acclaimed HBO Max series Hacks, which has earned her a Primetime Emmy, Peabody Award, and multiple WGA Awards. Born in Milton, Massachusetts, Statsky moved to New York City to study Film and Television at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She started her career as an intern for Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and The Onion. Statsky is married to Travis 'Tug' Helwig, an Emmy-winning writer formerly at Crooked Media.
