Jenna Ushkowitz, born Jenna Noelle Ushkowitz on April 28, 1986, is a South Korean-born American actress, singer, producer, and podcast host. She gained recognition for her roles in various Broadway musicals, including The King and I and Waitress. Ushkowitz is best known for portraying Tina Cohen-Chang on the Fox musical comedy-drama series Glee, which earned her a Grammy Award nomination. As a producer, she has won two Tony Awards for her work on the Broadway musical Once on This Island and the Broadway play The Inheritance. Ushkowitz was adopted from Seoul, South Korea and raised in East Meadow, New York. She attended Holy Trinity Diocesan High School in Hicksville, Long Island.
