Jennifer Leigh Hammon, born on March 7, 1976, is an American actress known for her work on the daytime soap opera Port Charles (1997–99) and as the lead in the 1997 film Allyson Is Watching. Born in Orlando, Florida, Hammon attended Winter Park High School and was a member of the International Thespian Society Troupe 850. She later graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Fine Art. Hammon's television credits include appearances in Super Force, The Young and the Restless, and the television movie Killing Mr. Griffin. She studied acting at the Beverly Hills Playhouse and gained recognition for her role as Dr. Karen Wexler Cates on Port Charles.
