Jenny Conlee Biography
Jennifer Lynn Conlee-Drizos, born on December 12, 1971, is an American musician. She is best known for her work as the accordionist, pianist, organist, keyboardist, melodica player, and occasional backup singer and harmonicist for the indie rock quintet The Decemberists. In addition to her contributions to The Decemberists, Conlee has made guest appearances on various records by artists such as Reclinerland, Lewi Longmire, Jerry Joseph, and Buoy LaRue. Prior to joining The Decemberists, she played piano for the band Calobo in the 1990s. Conlee is also a member of Casey Neill & The Norway Rats and the acoustic band Black Prairie. She even founded the Pogues cover band KMRIA. Conlee's accordions, including a Paolo Soprani and a Petosa Futu, have been recognized and displayed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
