Jenny Slate

Jenny Slate is an American actress, stand-up comedian, and writer. She gained recognition for her live variety shows in New York City and for co-creating, writing, and producing the children's short film and book series Marcel the Shell with Shoes On. Slate became more widely known as a cast member on Saturday Night Live. She has also appeared in comedic series such as Bob's Burgers, Parks and Recreation, House of Lies, and Kroll Show. Slate's breakout role came with her leading performance in the film Obvious Child, for which she won the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress in a Comedy. She has lent her voice to the animated film The Lorax.
