    Jens Okking Biography
    Jens Dyhr Okking (18 December 1939 – 21 January 2018) was a Danish actor, singer, and politician. He gained international recognition for his role in Lars von Triers' TV-series The Kingdom. In Denmark, Okking had a successful career in theater, film, and TV series, and even worked as a theater director. He was also a talented singer, collaborating with various Danish musicians. Okking recorded several audiobooks, particularly for children, and appeared in radio plays for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR). Additionally, he served as a member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2003, initially representing the June Movement before joining the People's Movement against the EU. Some of his notable films include The Only Way, Tjærehandleren, and Olsen-bandens store kup.
