Jere Shea Biography
Jere Shea (born June 14, 1965) is an American actor. He gained recognition for originating the role of Giorgio in the Broadway production of Passion, earning a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical. After leaving acting in 1998, Shea pursued a career in politics and government, serving as deputy chief of staff to Massachusetts Governor Paul Cellucci, among other positions. In 2016, he returned to acting, appearing in a concert production of The Secret Garden. Shea's recent work includes a starring role in the 2019 Showtime series City on a Hill.
