Jeremy Davies (born October 28, 1969) is an American film and television actor. He gained recognition for his roles in various movies and TV shows, including Spanking the Monkey (1994), Saving Private Ryan (1998), Solaris (2002), Dogville (2003), Helter Skelter (2004), Rescue Dawn (2006), and Lost (2008–2010). Davies won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series in 2012 for his performance in Justified (2011–2015). He also received the BAFTA Award for Best Performance in a Video Game for his role in God of War (2018). Born in Traverse City, Michigan, Davies adopted his mother's maiden name as his professional name. He has a brother and two half-siblings.
