Jeremy Hotz (born May 31, 1963) is a Canadian–American actor and stand-up comedian. He gained recognition for his role on the television series The Newsroom, for which he won a Gemini Award in 1997. Hotz has made appearances on popular shows such as Comedy Central Presents, the Just For Laughs comedy festival, the Late Show with David Letterman, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. In addition to his acting career, he has worked as a staff writer for Paramount's The Jon Stewart Show. Hotz has also appeared in various American and Canadian motion pictures, including Speed 2: Cruise Control, My Favorite Martian, and Married Life. He continues to entertain audiences with his comedic talent and can be seen performing at various live shows and events.
