    Jeremy Shu-How Lin (born August 23, 1988) is a Taiwanese-American professional basketball player for the New Taipei Kings of the P. League+ (PLG). Lin gained widespread recognition during the 2011-2012 NBA season when he led the New York Knicks to a remarkable winning streak, a phenomenon known as 'Linsanity.' He is the first American of Chinese or Taiwanese descent to play in the NBA and one of the few Asian Americans to have competed in the league. Lin achieved another milestone in 2019 when he became the first Asian American player to win an NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors. Prior to his professional career, Lin attended Harvard University where he excelled as a basketball player in the Ivy League.
