Jeremy Tardy (born November 7, 1990) is an American actor known for his roles in the Netflix series Dear White People and the Paramount Network show 68 Whiskey. Tardy developed a passion for acting at a young age and pursued it throughout his school years, overcoming challenges to stay focused. His hard work paid off when he gained admission to the prestigious Juilliard School. In 2016, Tardy landed the role of Rashid Bakr in the television adaptation of Dear White People. He was also cast as Night Thrasher in the unaired series New Warriors on Freeform. Tardy left Dear White People in September 2020, citing issues with payment and discrimination from Lionsgate.
