Jermaine Jackson Biography
Jermaine La Juane Jackson (born December 11, 1954) is an American singer, songwriter, and bassist. He gained fame as a member of the Jackson family and was a key member of the Jackson 5 from 1964 to 1975, serving as the second vocalist and playing the bass guitar. Jermaine sang the lead on some of the group's biggest hits, including 'I'll Be There' and 'I Want You Back.' Following the departure of his siblings, Jermaine stayed at Motown and continued his solo career, achieving success with several top-30 hits. He also collaborated with Whitney Houston and produced for the band Switch. Jermaine rejoined the Jacksons in 1983 and remained with the group through various breakups and reunions.
