Jermaine Rivers

Jermaine Lateef Rivers (born September 22, 1973) is an American actor known for his roles in various television series. He gained recognition for portraying Shatter in Fox/Marvel's The Gifted and Officer Carter in Lifetime Channel's Devious Maids. In addition to these roles, Rivers has also appeared in Tyler Perry's If Loving You is Wrong (2016) and The Haves and Have Nots (2018). Born in Vicenza, Italy, Rivers grew up in a military family. He enlisted in the US Army in 1993 and served on active duty until 2013, completing a total of five deployments, including combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
