Jerry Bruckheimer, born Jerome Leon Bruckheimer on September 21, 1943, is an American film and television producer known for his work in various genres such as action, drama, comedy, fantasy, and science fiction. Bruckheimer has produced numerous successful films including Flashdance, Top Gun, The Rock, Crimson Tide, Con Air, Armageddon, Enemy of the State, Black Hawk Down, Pearl Harbor, Kangaroo Jack, and the Beverly Hills Cop, Bad Boys, Pirates of the Caribbean, and National Treasure franchises. He has co-produced films with major studios like Paramount and Disney, and his TV series have been co-produced by Warner Bros. and CBS Studios. He is also known for creating popular television series such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, and CSI: NY.
