Born on May 28, 1956, he is widely recognized as one of the most talented Dobro players in contemporary acoustic music. With a career spanning over several decades, Jerry has received numerous accolades, including fourteen Grammy Awards. He is known for his innovative style and has collaborated with various well-known artists, such as Garth Brooks, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, and Elvis Costello. In addition to his solo recordings, Jerry has played on over 1,600 albums and has been a co-director of the Transatlantic Sessions since 1998.
