Jerry Stiller (1927–2020) was an American comedian and actor. He gained popularity as part of the comedy duo Stiller and Meara, alongside his wife Anne Meara. Stiller enjoyed a late-career resurgence in the 1990s, playing the role of Frank Costanza, George Costanza's father, on the sitcom Seinfeld, which earned him an Emmy nomination.
