Jesse Adam Eisenberg (born October 5, 1983) is an American actor and writer. He gained recognition for his role as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in the film The Social Network (2010), earning nominations for an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards, and a Golden Globe Award. Eisenberg made his television debut in the series Get Real (1999–2000) and had leading roles in films such as Adventureland (2009) and Zombieland (2009). He has also appeared in Woody Allen's To Rome with Love (2012) and Café Society (2016), the heist films Now You See Me (2013) and its sequel, and the superhero film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016).
