Jessica Lange Biography
Jessica Phyllis Lange is an American actress. She is known for achieving the Triple Crown of Acting, having won two Academy Awards, three Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Tony Award. Lange began her film career in the 1976 remake of King Kong, earning a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year. She received her first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in Tootsie (1982) and her second for Best Actress in Blue Sky (1994). Lange has also been nominated for Oscars for her roles in Frances (1982), Country (1984), Sweet Dreams (1985), and Music Box (1989). In addition to her film work, Lange has appeared in TV productions such as O Pioneers! (1992) and American Horror Story (2011-2018).
