Jessica Steen

Jessica Steen (born December 19, 1965) is a Canadian actress known for her roles in Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, Homefront, Earth 2, Armageddon, Left Behind: World at War, NCIS, Flashpoint, and the CBC series Heartland. Born in Toronto, Ontario, she is the daughter of actress Joanna Noyes and director/actor Jan Steen. Steen is of Dutch and Scottish descent. In addition to her acting career, she is an environmentalist and animal rights supporter, advocating for organizations such as David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals, and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee. Steen is also a certified diver and skilled in circus arts like stilt-walking and fire-twirling.
