Jessie J

Jessica Ellen Cornish, professionally known as Jessie J, is an English singer. Born on March 27, 1988, in London, she began her career at a young age with a role in the West End musical Whistle Down the Wind. Jessie J studied at the BRIT School and signed with Gut Records, subsequently securing a songwriting deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. After joining Republic Records, she gained fame with her debut single, 'Do It Like a Dude.' Her next single, 'Price Tag,' topped the charts in nineteen countries, including the UK. Jessie J's debut album, 'Who You Are,' reached number two in the UK and produced several successful singles. With six top-ten singles from a sole studio album, she became the first British female artist to achieve this milestone.
