Jibz Cameron

Jibz Cameron, also known as Dynasty Handbag, is a performance, recording, and video artist. She gained popularity for her work as Dynasty Handbag, a persona she created in 2001. Cameron's performance art has been described as outrageously smart, grotesque, and innovative. She has received critical acclaim, with The New Yorker praising her work and The New York Times calling it insanely funny and tone-perfect. Cameron has also worked as a visiting professor at the California Institute of the Arts and as an adjunct professor at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Her performances and video works have been showcased at esteemed venues like the Andy Warhol Museum, the Hammer Museum, The Kitchen, REDCAT, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the Centre Pompidou.
