Jill Biden

Jill Tracy Jacobs Biden (born June 3, 1951) is an American educator and the current first lady of the United States. She has held this position since 2021, following her husband Joe Biden's inauguration as president. Prior to becoming first lady, Jill Biden served as the second lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017 when her husband served as vice president. Jill Biden has an extensive background in education, having worked as a professor of English at Northern Virginia Community College since 2009. She holds bachelor's and doctoral degrees in education from the University of Delaware, as well as master's degrees in education and English from West Chester University and Villanova University. Throughout her career, she has taught English and reading in high schools, as well as worked as an English and writing instructor at Delaware Technical & Community College.
