Jill Halfpenny

Jill Halfpenny (born July 15, 1975) is an English actress known for her roles in various TV shows. She began her acting career in 1989 in the children's drama series Byker Grove. Halfpenny gained recognition for her roles as Rebecca Hopkins in Coronation Street (1999–2000), Kate Mitchell in EastEnders (2002–2005), Izzie Redpath in Waterloo Road (2006–2007), and Diane Manning in In The Club (2014–2016). In 2004, she won the second series of Strictly Come Dancing. With early work in Peak Practice, Dalziel and Pascoe, and Coronation Street, Halfpenny has also showcased her talent in theatre with the Hull Truck Theatre Company.
