Jill Winternitz

Jill Winternitz is an American actress best known for her work on the London stage. Born in Davis, Northern California, Winternitz attended Davis Senior High School before dropping out of UCLA to pursue classical theatre. She auditioned for and graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London in 2009. Winternitz also received training at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and Moscow Art Theatre School. In 2012, she starred as Frances 'Baby' Houseman in the stage adaptation of Dirty Dancing on a 23-show UK tour. She later reprised her role in the 2013 London run at the Piccadilly Theatre, making her West End debut. Winternitz took over the lead role of Girl in the West End production of Once from 2014 until its closure in 2015.
