Jim Davidson

James Cameron Davidson (born December 13, 1953) is an English stand-up comedian, actor, singer, and TV presenter. He is best known for hosting the popular television shows Big Break and The Generation Game. Davidson developed two adult pantomime shows, Boobs in the Wood and Sinderella. Born in Kidbrooke, London, to a Scottish father from Glasgow and an Irish mother from Cork, Davidson attended Kidbrooke Park Primary School and St Austin's School in Charlton. At the age of 12, he impressed acquaintances with his celebrity impressions and appeared on television in the Billy Cotton Band Show. Davidson worked various jobs, including as a drummer and supermarket shelf stacker, before finding success in the entertainment industry.
